Muddy dog is a happy dog.

Well to start off with i ate my first ever egg today, i mean i've had little bits of egg before but i had a full raw egg today!! I thought mum had gone crazy but she told me that eggs are actually good for dogs! The shells provide calcium so i enjoyed my egg!

And walkies was great to, i found this huge muddy puddle and was just sniffing in it, it smelt yak! But soon i was sliding in it and skidding, i slipped once to and decided to stick my face in it, i was having so much fun i forgot i was on a walk until i looked up and mum was laughing telling me my tongue was black!!! I thought she was exaggerating until i seen the picture she took later!! I was so muddy! Playing in the mud was so fun, until mum said what was coming next... a bbbath!!!! It was horrible, i can tell mums getting stronger because of boxing because she easily lifted me up and put me in the bath!! Usually it takes forever! ANYWAY after i was put in the bath mum got me all soapy and washed all the mud off, i was annoyed, it took me ages to get THAT dirty and she washed it away so easily :( But i guess smelling like apples is nice.. mmmmmm apples. 

The best part was after the bath, mum dried me all up and i went down stairs to find a lovely bowl of food waiting for me, mum was right, the food did cheer me up. Things just got even better too because i got my lovely yummy kong to!! I've had a great day (except for that stupid bath). Hope everyone else has had a great day to!!! 

Wow i was muddy! Mummy was happy though because i still gave her a big smile after the bath, as you can see! Hope you all had a great day too!!! :)

The great escape

Today was crazy!! I've been working on the hole for some time now, it's just by the fence and it leads to next doors garden, today i seen this weird thing in the garden and i wanted a closer look so stuck my head under the fence were i made the hole, when i tried to get  out i couldn't because i was stuck!! I panicked and so did mummy but with her help i got out.

I still hadn't got a closer look at the weird thing in the garden so when mum went into the shed to get some nails to nail some wood over the hole i scrambled under the fence, i know it was naughty but i was really curious!! Anyway uncle Lewis tried to stop me getting under the fence but he was to late because i had already got under!! I went over to the weird thing in the garden and realized it was just a statue, now i feel really silly!! I was going to head back but i realized i couldn't fit back under and was stuck in next doors garden!!! The woman whos garden i was in (her name is Jean) wasn't in so mummy tried to climb over the fence to get me but there was this stupid tree in the way of her landing so she couldn't get down!! Nanny had a banana by the hole trying to get me back into my garden but i don't like bananas and i didn't feel like going back yet so i ignored her and the banana. I could sense mummy was panicking at this point and i felt really bad, she came by the hole and put her arm through and was stroking me and she asked me to come through the hole for her so i tried! But i couldn't fit :( Mummy started digging in the hole just like a doggy would trying to make it deeper so i could fit, i started digging to to help her out and when she asked me to come through again i tried and with a little help from mum i managed to get my shoulders through and then the rest of my body!! It was a crazy day and i thought mummy was going to be angry at me for going through the hole but she was just so relived to have me back!! I gave her extra big kisses to show how much i loved her!!

Kongs and other things

I love my kong, it's probably the best thing in the world!! It's a toy and gives me food at the same time!!! Kongs are great! If i was ever king i'd make sure every dog had at least 5 kongs that was stuffed each day with lovely yummy foods.

From bottom to top

Top hole was stuffed with cheese
Then honey
Then bacon (i love bacon but mummy only ever lets me have it sometimes because apparently it's to salty)
Then apple
Then some cookie
A bit more cheese
An finally honey on top with a doggy biscuit sticking out the top
Mummy freezes it to so it is harder to get out and more fun!!!

MMMMM my yummy kong!!

I FOUND A COOL FLASHY BALL!! It's really great, i love to play with it!! I throw it by myself to, and run round and round with it. I was quite annoyed at mum today, we didn't go on an off lead walk! I stayed on lead ALL DAY!! How unfair is that!?! Mum says she's going to repay me tomorrow with an extra long walkies, she best take me to the weetabix (oops i mean wheat) field so i can chase the pheasants, i have to go on bird watch again, just incase the birdies try and attack again!!!

Oh yeah the kitty is still here, she's been sucking up to my people, i guess shes kinda my sister now, my sister that trys to claw me!! She wants my people and she can't have them!! God shes just like cousin Molly, cousin Molly is doing fine btw people!! :)

Millie the kitty

Theres a kitten living in my house!!! Shes small and cute but she tried to scratch me! I was being all nice and friendly and she went to scratch me!! I was shocked, what a mean little kitten, i let her come to my home and she tries to hurt me :(

Mum says she's lovely and really people friendly for a stray, she had fleas but they're gone now, she was skinny when mum brought her home but shes looking a little better today, we don't know how young she is because she only has four teeth!! Just 4! and they're baby teeth.  I'm kinda happy she's here because i broke into the fridge and ate some kitten food, it was yummy, Millie isn't staying for long though, we're finding her a home, mums gonna ask nan if she can have her and if not we'll have to go on a big search for some owners!!!

She reminds me of my friend Millie, she's a black Labrador cross Collie and she's all black and called Millie to, hi Millie if you read this :P

Wheat field walkies

Haven't updated this in a while! Sorry everyone!

Walkies have been great! That word just makes me happy!! ANYWAY we've been going the wheat field as usual, it's great there! I have loads of space to run and loads of birds to chase, i'e found this new kind of bird, it's small, fat and can't fly very well, mum says it's called a pheasant or something but i just call it a wheat bird. I chased a wheat bird yesterday and ignored mum when she shouted me, i was clearing the area and making it safe for her! She should have been grateful, supermilo has made the area safe once again! Oh yeah another great thing i've found is a HUGE muddly puddle on the field!!!!!!! I LOVE MUD!

I have to say RIP to a dear friend to, i found him on the field, mum said he was a hedgehog and he was friendly and after checking him out i knew she was right, sadly the birds got him and ATE him! And mum wonders why i chase away birds! They are murderers!

I'm so proud of my mummy!! She went to a award night in boxing today and guess what, she won a gold medal!!! Well done mummy! I'm so proud of you, i told you all them extra walkies jogging in the rain would pay off!

Baking and the new field.

Yesterday mum got busy with cooking me up some lovely treats! They were the best, most nicest things i have ever eaten! I even stole one out the fridge when mum wasn't looking, shhhh though.

mmmm just looking at these makes me hungry.

I've found a new field to walk my people on, it's the farmers wheat field. I tell the people not to wreck his wheat but they just don't listen, when they go into it i have to go in aswell to retrieve them out but i can't help rolling round in it! It is a great place to be, especially when mum found me a huge stick and threw it, i love sticks! Oh and i found some ways to avoid getting into trouble and avoid getting put back onto the lead. 

Firstly with avoiding getting into trouble, if the people didn't see anything they can't blame you! So by saying i didn't do it and giving them a big smile you might not get caught! Sadly i tried this and did get caught out.

But staying off lead is a successful tactic, first go sit by your people and be all affectionate, maybe make them laugh, then quickly grab the lead and act like you're just playing, then while they aren't looking run with the lead!! Then you can't get put back on because you have the lead not them!! There's only one flaw with my plan, when mum shouts come here i have to go to her, so it didn't work for very long :(

Scent games

I went to the hidden field again, it's great because only me, mum and uncle Lewis know about it so no one else goes! Before letting me off the lead mum went and hid food around the field in 'hard to find' places (i found it pretty easy to be honest) and when i was let off the lead i had to look for the food! I love these kind of games because i get to eat. At one point my nose so was close to the ground i didn't realize i was walking towards uncle Lewis, i walked straight into his legs! I weren't sure whether he was cross at me at first but he didn't mind, he couldn't blame me anyway! My people should move out of the way when i walk past! God they need more training!

 I got a great new toy today aswell! It was squeaky! I LOVE SQUEAKY TOYS. Me and mum had a tug of war match with it, i obviously won!! Oh yeah guess what ladies.. i have a six pack. It's true i really do, mum couldn't believe it at first, i've been working out on the sly, shhhhhhh.

Mmmmm a stuffed kong is calling my name, i love my kong, getting the food out is the best! If i had my way i'd have thousands of kongs and LOADS of cookies! So long!

New toy off uncle lewis and mum!

Uncle Lewis

This week has been the best! My mums younger cousin Lewis has been coming on walks with me, he's my uncle! I only seen him when i was a tiny pup but now i'm seeing him more and it's great! I love my uncle Lewis! The big yellow ball in the sky hasn't been out much this week but when it does come out me and mum make the most of it! I love playing in the back garden! Especially when its scent games and i have to search for food, i love eating it after I've found it, makes me feel like i've accomplished something! Mmmm speaking of food mum bought me a new clever toy, i have to push it round to make the food come out, i don't see the point really! Why can't she just give me the food and save me the effort of rolling it round! But i guess it's still quite fun and addictive, well anything to do with food is addictive! 

Today mum and uncle Lewis took me on a huge 5 HOUR WALK!! I bet my cousin Molly will be so jealous when she finds out! We went to a huge secret field that hardly no one knows about and played on there for ages until we decided to have a walk round the next field (mum put me on the lead when we done this so it sucked a little) but i seen loads of birds, birds........ sorry got a little distracted thinking about chasing birdies. I've been playing with other dogs again and mum seemed really happy about that! Oh and uncle Lewis was very impressed with all the tricks i can do! I admit i kinda showed off when i started giving him my paw before he even asked but what can i say, there was food involved and a new one of my people to impress! Mum was saying to that shes noticed that i don't really play with toys much but i do play with things that are rope like, i love the rope of mums dressing gown and off her shorts! Plus my lead is great to play with!! I guess it's just because tug of war is my favorite game, i get to be all boisterous and wrestle, my favorite things to do!!

Oh before i forget i wanted to thank Sheba for the sunshine award she gave me, i was gonna do a blog post with it like everyone else does but i'm not sure what to do but thanks anyway Sheba!!!
